Essential revision notes in pediatrics for the MRCPCH (by Mark Beattie - Mike champion)

The book contains 977 pages in 24 chapters;
chapters are between (65 & 20 pages each) each chapter covers single system,
So if studying 20 pages/day
book could be finished in 49 days, almost 2 months.

Is this possible ?? if you have a comment please add it.

about me I will start with Neonatology chapter.

Finally I came back after about a year of distraction and loosing time.
Now I'm setting up a new begining, you all are invited to share me this begining.
I will put a schedule for studying for part one MRCPCH just in the next few days,
I'm starting from zero point, same like many of you who likes to make his/her own way for this great certificate (MRCPCH).
So lets start hoping I can avoid the previous mistakes, and be able to concentrate more;
I like you all to encourge me please, and if you like to start like me just follow or give oponion if you have any

I gathered some book names for studying and practicing which I heared that it is recommended for MRCPCH Part I preparation

For studying:
*Basic medical sciences for MRCP part I - third edition (by philippa J. Easterbrook).

*Essential revision notes in pediatrics for the MRCPCH - second edition (by Mark Beattie - Mike champion)

*Nelson Essentials of pediatrics.

*Nelson textbook of pediatrics.

*Illustrated Textbook of Pediatrics (by Tom Lissure).

Recent books:

MRCPCH mastercourse (Royal Collage publication) > (2 books + DVD)

For practicing:
*Essential questions in pediatrics for MRCPCH vol. I
*Essential questions in pediatrics for MRCPCH vol. II
*Basic child health practice papers
*Total revision: Extended pediatrics

If anybody has names of good recommended books for studying or practicing please add it.

A big mistake

I read this just few days ago.
“To study the phenomena of disease without books is to sail an uncharted sea, while to study books without patients is not to go to sea at all.” —Sir William Osler.

For long time I thought that buying books and having a vacation for long time (a year for example) to study it and do the exams is enough to be a good doctor.

But lately I discovered that I paid a lot of my critical age time for this wrong idea.

So please don't do the same mistake & study in parallel to work.

Hi all
I thought about studying for MRCPCH exam.

I sit this blog up to share the others who like to start their way toward MRCPCH , and I chose its name (MRCPCH way) to be descriptive about its content and I think this name will attract all interested doctors to join our blog.
